Minnie Bishop is a Britannian veteran witch of the first Neuroi War. Loving mother to Lynne, Wilma and six other children.

She is Britannia's number one ace at the time of the previous war, a master of marksmanship.
She has a friendship with former Britannia Air Force Fighter Commander General Dowding and has some influence over the military. However, her girls who volunteered to become witches did not receive any special treatment, and they went to regular schools. This is probably because she followed the Bishop's precept, "Do your own thing and do it yourself".
